Background:
GT Group, a retail company that sells home appliances, approached Actum Lab to create high-quality 3D models of their products. The goal was to use these models for various use cases such as AR/VR, 3D product configurators, and high-quality renders and visualisations for product catalogs.
Challenges:
The project presented several challenges for Actum Lab, including the need for a high level of expertise and an extraordinary level of quality. With over 1700 home appliances to model, the project required a significant investment of time and resources.
Solution:
To meet these challenges, Actum Lab assembled a team of experienced 3D modeling experts. The team used the latest software and techniques to create highly detailed and accurate 3D models of each home appliance. To ensure the highest level of quality, the team conducted multiple rounds of quality control and made revisions as needed.
Results:
The end result was a comprehensive set of 3D models that exceeded GT Group’s expectations. The models were used to create high-quality renders and visualizations for product catalogs, and also were integrated into AR/VR and 3D product configurator applications. Additionally, the models were integrated into GT Group’s e-commerce website, allowing visitors to launch Augmented Reality previews of the products. Furthermore, the models were used in an innovative online application called Kitchen Generator, which can generate custom, measured-to-made kitchen projects in less than 30 seconds. GT Group was extremely pleased with the outcome and the level of service provided by Actum Lab.
